Noodeling, and Moodeling



Spent a good bit of time working on this over the weekend. Read about Max Kor's Wood Elf over at CG Talk and just got bit by the modeling bug pretty hard.

The base mesh is pretty much together, it is all quads and converts nicely to a sub d mesh. Just needs a bit more loving on the ears and cheeks then it should be done done done.

Hadn't really been spending much time actually modelling in the last year, so it is nice to be doing something that is coming together nicely. I still have about 15 maps left to paint, things to z brush, bumps maps to made, etc., etc. Figure I have about 80-120 hours left before I really have it together and looking photo real. Guees its a good thing I don't have any big assignments or games I just have to play in the forseeable future.

Oh and to showcase just how frighteningly bad I was modeling when I got back to it, I think I shall post up this wretch:
